Agree with Ian Chappel , the way Afridi stands with his hands raised is a clear sign of arrogance and selfishness as if he is alone playing for Pakistan. This is among a series of gestures that Afridi makes to show that he is the captain , agree he does not have the cool temperament of a selfless leader like Ponting.

I was unaware of the hulaboo created by Ian Chappell, as I at sea and unable to receive any of the chatpatta news. As an avid cricket supporter of the region, and Pakistan in particular, it was my wish till now that India should beat the Austrailians (which they will probably do), to set up an India – Pakistan classic semis, however now I am hopeful that the Pakis get a second bite at the Aussies, to prove a point and blacken Ian’s dirty white face for good.
Having said that I doubt the aussies will get past the Indians this time round as their batting is too good for the mediocre Australian bowling.

Chappel’s remarks were probably out of sheer frustration .The Mighty Aussies are going down bigtime . I dont mind a little hustle and bustle in cricket but his remarks were very unprofessional and definitely bordered on discriminatory .As for Afridi’s celebrations ; if you can take a wicket ; do a bhangra or break dance on the pitch ,nobody cares
